When lightening is riding the stallion the general shape reminded me of and ultralisk..... Starcraft 2 and Final Fantasy need to finally come out. I really need sleep.
Just beautiful. This is why I love the playstation. Games like these are the reason why I keep playing after seeing so many fps out in the market.
I would download this, but I don't have my xbox with me. =(
The better the graphics get in these racing games, the more I want to play them.
Finally another game supports this feature. I remember this being talked about long ago, but nothing real important used this functionality.
Once a machine gets below a certain amount I become numb to any price drop after that. So far PS3 price drops feel like considerable drops that make it much more affordable. I think xbox hit its sweet spot awhile ago. The ps3 still can probably drop one more time before it feels like it will hit its sweet spot. Might be rambling here, but that's just my opinion.
lol, this is a little late by a few hours. Would have been a little more helpful before the keynote happened.
Got excited for old stuff. Maybe next year...
I only rediscovered the DS recently. You have to dig through the loads shovelware that comes out on it, but once you have sifted through that mess you find a large number of good games. I would like to upgrade my old DS to the Lite (I want to keep the GBA slot), but I'm too cheap.
That's what I would like to know too. If Xbox has games like Resident Evil 5 that will be patched this could be interesting, but if it is for future games that will not get much focus I will be disappointed. Xbox has the ability to do a lot with Natal, but they just have to realize that they will need to run with the idea. Going only half way will make natal look utterly like a gimmick.
@10 Steps Back
Yeah the movement was great. I was kind of sad when I couldn't get any faster or jump any higher. I maxed that out early in the game. Hopefully they'll draw the upgrades out so there are maybe 8 level ups instead of 4.
@xabmol
If you want an xbox, I would say get one now. They can't go any lower right now. With that rebate incentive and price drop it is definitely affordable.
Assassin's Creed looked amazing and controlled well. Who didn't like just running around and climbing everything. The only thing they missed was the gameplay, hopefully if they improved everything I have a good feeling that they pruned a lot of the repetition out. Can't wait to see this when it lands.
This one of those games that makes me glad I own a Xbox 360. Loved the first one, collecting all those orbs was so addicting. I hope they make more level ups where you can jump ever so highly and run ever so quickly. That was what drove me in that game.
EDIT:
Someone is really hitting the disagree like crazy here. Calm down.
After looking at the pick, I am impressed. It is not a hard pink that is abrasive to the eyes, but a much softer one. The color seems to flow well on the console. Shoot, I wouldn't mind picking one of these up.
I'm really interested in the solution to this problem. The Dualshock works great when it rests in the fingers with two hands, but in one hand there is a torque and it always wants to fall out without the other hand supporting it. If the dualshock and wand setup is how they are going to do a game like RE5, I expect some third parties are going to make some kind of addon where people can grip the controller better.
I don't know if LittleBigPlanet will play better with the new controls. Some games like Resident Evile 5 are just asking for the wand. The pop it bubble will easily be better, but movement of the character might be hindered. Either way I will definitely try it out and see what works best.
EDIT: Is there and analog on the motion controller or do you use it in conjunction with a dualshock?
I love how I only started playing metal gear solid games last year in the summer. Since then I am in love with this series. Anything with a stamp of Kojima studio will get my support. I have yet to play a mediocre game from his studio.
This looks nice. I might finally try an mmo when this comes out. Nothing has ever really appealed to me before. I actually almost got FF XI, but found out it had a monthly fee long ago when it first came out on the ps2. Funny that the next mmo I look at is its spiritual sequel.
EDIT
@mxdan
Only heard that there was some gameplay shown from FFvXIII. No videos yet have been posted as far as I know.
Wow, if that picture after the link is GT portable I might just buy it because it looks so good.
Glad to hear that they are trying to do hardcore games with the motion control right off the bat. Resident Evil 5 would be one game that I might prefer this control method over the traditional one.
Yeah, the first few words of the article sum up my reaction. This is strange.
